| Our
Purpose
In order to achieve the mission goals outlined in our
mission statement, Covenant
Christian School will:
- Approach its educational task from the perspective
of the theological position historically identified
as "Reformed," as summarized in the Westminster
Confession of Faith, Larger and Shorter Catechisms,
in the conviction that this represents the fullest
and most accurate dogmatic formulation of the teaching
of Scripture developed by the Church to date.
- Develop its educational principles and methods in
a manner consistent with this theological foundation,
recognizing that no part of the educational process
can be treated as a realm of spiritual and theological
neutrality.
- Provide a comprehensive daily education in what
have come to be known traditionally as the "liberal
arts," i.e., the humanities, arts, and sciences,
with its integration point in biblical and theological
studies, understanding that Jesus Christ alone is
the Truth, in knowledge of whom alone there is true
liberty.
